Let’s try again to ride Sunday’s rained-out PRS# #9: Calaveras-Felter.  (This ride has replaced the normal Tuesday Tour de Hills ride. Please check the calendar for a few options if you do not want to do the entire ride.)

Where             Niles Blvd and H Street

Description    Length: 59.4 miles; Elevation: 4210 feet
Terrain: 4; Pace: M, M+

Meet at 9:00 am for an 9:15 am start. Start in Niles at the end of H Street near the restrooms.  We'll climb Calaveras Rd and Felter Rd to the summit at Sierra Vista Park. We'll turn around and ride back, with detours onto Marsh Rd, The Wall, and Sandy Wool Lake. We'll stop for a well-deserved break at Erik’s DeliCafé in Milpitas. (Bring money for lunch/snacks.) 

Our lunch break is at mile 42.5 so bring plenty of water and snacks.  Don't expect cell phone service for long stretches.  Bring two tubes just in case!
