Redwood Road just north of the Castro Valley Christmas Tree Farm and the Redwood Golf Course has been washed out. All lanes have collapsed and even the east shoulder is extremely sketchy with cracks. A set of K-barriers has been put up as your ride from Castro Valley but they weren’t yet up on the north side coming from Moraga. The damage is severe, as bad as it was in 2017 and it will be a long time before being able to ride through there. If you must pass through, your best bet will be Brandon Trail from Marciel Road to the golf course. But currently the golf course is closed due to inundation by mud and it’s going to be a while before the trail has dried out anyway.
