What’s the point of a club named “Fremont Freewheelers” if you start rides in San Ramon? Just wondering.

Would anyone be willing to pick me and my bike up tomorrow on the way to San Ramon? I can meet on Mission Blvd at Fairway in Hayward. Please contact me off list.
Tomorrow is one of my favorite rides and not just because we have my favorite pizza afterward. I always hope we will see some
animals along the way but most of the time, it seems it's just the horses rather than the donkeys, peacock, and ostrich. The name of the ride is a bit misleading...we will actually finish the ride and drive to the new location of Zachary's in Pleasanton.
I hope you can join me. Walt should be joining us for pizza too.

DescriptionLength:
20 miles;
Elevation gain: 1400 feet;
Terrain: 3,4 Pace: T,M
Meet at Central Park in San Ramon.
Directions to the correct parking lot from Fremont: 680N, exit Bollinger, right turn onto Bollinger, left at the light on Marketplace, veer right as you enter the parking, then continue left toward the back.
We will climb to the top of Norris Canyon (remembering the miniature donkeys and peacocks along the way that we haven't seen for some time) and then turn back and head up Bollinger Canyon and look for the ostrich (which has
been seen a few times).
After regrouping at Las Trampas parking lot, we will head back to our cars and drive to the new location of Zachary's in Pleasanton (337 Main St Suite B, Pleasanton, CA 94566 - parking along Main St or in the lot behind the building).
They don't take reservations, it is first come first served.
Both climbs are out and back so you can turn around any time you feel like it. No one left behind. Bring $ for lunch and a lock for your bike.
Extreme temperatures or construction or whim of the ride leader can modify the route. Rain cancels, check yahoo group, email or call me.
