Thank You! Thank you!

Hello FFBC Friends,

The "week" of celebrating Walt was a great success!  Of course, it only happens when we all come together.  I'd like to take time to thank everyone that showed up and helped.
If you have time (or interest 🤗) to read, the details are below.

We started Thursday with 58 riders joining the rolling bike party.  Thank you Becky Smith for sending a sash and all the fun party beads and buttons to add to the curling ribbon and party hat helmet decorations.  Thank you to Randy Fewel, Sydney Friedenberg, Judy Young, Melinda Mayfield, Terri Yi and anyone else that handed out the bling, helped with the decor and card signatures.  Thanks, Jim Takasugi, for organizing us for a picture.  Our ride leaders were Ron Mitchell, Ken Goldman and first-time sweep Debbie Frederick.  Becky Smith picked up the cake and Judy and Steve Young left the ride early to head back to help with last minute details at Don Edward.  Lots of people brought their lunches and we enjoyed some time catching up in the amphitheatre and singing HBD.  I heard there was a math discussion regarding cake cutting (Bob Miller, Jim T. and Steve Young) in the pavilion and it worked out great as Walt had some leftover cake to take home. The decorations and tablecloths in the pavilion where we had our cake, added to the festivities.  Thanks to all for helping to clean up. Thank you to our FFBC members Julie Hampton (VS) and Nancy Ung (Grizzly Peak) for getting the ride posting out to their other clubs; I'd appreciate it if you could forward this message to your email lists too.  We had a great turnout.  Thanks in advance to Robin since she has to input all those names!

The fun continued at the Tour de Fuzz.  We had a great time getting together on Friday night, on the Fuzz ride (beautiful day, nice weather and air quality), eating, singing and dancing at the BBQ and more eating and drinking at the Best Western after party potluck.  A HUGE thank you to Red Shoe James (Wedewer) for taking over the pizza guru position when Julie Gilson couldn't attend.

Of course the week of Walt is more like the month or two of Walt... His daughter, Gail, is hosting a Zoom birthday party on Sunday September 25, 2PM.  Please see Gail's message below the pictures.

Thank you Lori for all the work you did to pull this great week together.  Great photos!  Now I am anxious to see the photos of all our club riders taken along the route of Tour de Fuzz.

Great Job Lori and all who helped set up and brought food to the after party at the hotel. It was a nice get together out doors.
