As this will be the 5th Tuesday of the month we will do something a bit different.
We will be riding to the newly completed Crystal Springs Dam It is now open and features
quite spectacular views of the reservoir. We will stop at the Crystal Springs Water Temple
with a lunch stop in downtown Woodside.
When Tue, January 29, 8:45am – 2:30pm
Where Parking lot at the base of the Dumbarton Bridge (at the end of Marshlands)
Description Length: 45 miles; Elevation: 2,900 feet
Terrain: Paved Roads; Pace: M
Note: As we will be crossing Menlo Park on the way out and returning through
the town of Woodside Please use extreme caution as we will traverse some busy
intersections and congested roads. I have done my best to find bike friendly roads
however, in some cases they are "Share the Road" and are moderately busy.

Meet at 8:45am for a 9:00am start. We'll ride across the Dumbarton Bridge and cross 101 over thepedestrian bridge. First bathroom stop will be at Flood Park and we will proceed across town via
Fair Oaks and Atherton Ave. We will take the Alameda and some side streets to Woodside turning
north on Canada Road making our second stop at the Water Temple. We will proceed to Skyline and
enter the Sawyer Camp Trail to access the bridge over the Dam. We will return via Crystal Springs Road
and the Ralston Pedestrian Trail. Returning to Canada Rd and making our way to Woodside via Edgewood.
There are a couple of lunch/coffee stop options in downtown either Pete's or City Pub. We will return via
Maple Ave across 101 and make our way along Bay Front around Facebook and back to the parking lot.
Bring spare tube, water, snacks, and money for coffee/snack stop
I will be updating the cue sheet so check back before Tuesday
Thanks Tom Giles
