Moderated Calaveras opening tomorrow, maybe?

I went up Calaveras from the Sunol Train Station, crossing the area by the Sunol Park entrance at Geary Road where the barrier was at exactly 10:00 am. I was a bit disappointed there was not a ribbon cutting or something to commemorate the reopening of this road after so long. The pavement all the way from the 680 freeway overpass in Sunol to the County line is new and fantastic for riding. We arrived at the top of the Wall at the same time as the Thursday Coffee Riders arrived from the other side. It was great to see all of the smiling faces. The ride back was so nice with all of the new pavement on all of those curves. Great day for cyclists to have this road open once again!
