Cinderella Conditioning Ride #3
Tonya Godinez
While the weather calls for rain - I am sending this out in hopes we we will be able to get the ride in. Please make sure to check your email Saturday morning as I will make the call around 7am if we can make the ride a go. Saturday, February 2 8:30–12:30pm (wheels rolling at 8:45) Centripedal - 3636 Thornton Ave, Fremont, CA 94536 Description:Length: 23 miles; Elevation: 980 feet Terrain: 2, 3; Pace: T, M For the third ride in the series we’ll go south and tackle “The Animals”. The route is a little more challenging than last week's ride with a few short "kickers". After “The Animals” we’ll get a well-deserved downhill along Mission Blvd. to downtown Niles. We’ll make our way from there around Quarry Lakes and back to the start. Optional coffee at Suju's after the ride. Remember these conditioning rides are open to all club members. Rain or significant chance of rain cancels. A ride cancellation email will be sent to https://ffbc.groups.io/g/info/topics by the ride leader on the morning of the ride if it is being cancelled (no email means the ride is on). If you are unsure of the ride status, call or text ride leader on the morning of the ride. RidewithGPS URL: CCRS02 "The Animals" (from Centripedal)

Re: LAP #5 - ATTACHED ROUTE SHEET
Ken Goldman
Hello LAP riders!
Please join us Sunday February 3 for the spectacular Tunnel Road Ride. From Skyline in Oakland we will enjoy great views of the bay and San Francisco. There is a chance of rain (surprise) but as of now it looks like it might hold off long enough for us to get our ride in. Lori or I will send out an email early Sunday morning to say whether we are able to ride or not.
The ride is 38 miles and 2500 feet of climbing and will finish at the Fremont BART station
We will start riding from the Rockridge BART Station in Oakland rolling by 9:15 Sunday morning. Most of us will take BART from Fremont to Rockridge.
If you are coming from a different station, you will need to be on a train that arrives at Rockridge by 9:00am.
If you drive to Rockridge, you will need to take BART back after the ride since we will finish the ride in Fremont.
Lori and Ken will be on the following trains:
Leave Fremont 7:54 Arrive Rockridge 8:39 Leave Fremont 8:14 Arrive Rockridge 8:59
Both trains require a transfer at 19th Street station in Oakland—get off the train and walk straight across the platform to board an Antioch Train.
You might want to use the restroom in the Rockridge station and then we will meet and sign everybody in outside-on the south side of the station.
A clarification regarding LAP route sheets - the official route sheet is ATTACHED to this email and should be printed and brought to the ride. This beautiful pdf has all our official regroups and route modifications! The route sheet generated using this ridewithgps link: (https://ridewithgps.com/routes/29051659) is for INFORMATION ONLY.
Please drop me a line if you have any questions about getting to Rockridge.
We hope to see you Sunday.
Lori and Ken

TMCR is ON but with a New Route Re: [ffbc] Thursday Morning Coffee Ride
Lori Sommer
Good Morning, It will be wet but hopefully the rain is over. We decided against the previously planned almost 50 mile route due to the portion of packed dirt that is probably muddy by now (just before that steep Bridge to Nowhere). Barry is putting together a new route for us now. We are STILL riding to lobster but to an alternative location with less mileage. We really hope you join us today. Doesn’t soup sound yummy? Lori
