The Progressive Ride Series (PRS) starts on January 6 and is designed for M-paced riders to get in condition to do a full century. The PRS begins with shorter and flatter rides and gradually builds up to the full-century Primavera Worker’s Ride in April. This year's series includes classics such as Corral Hollow, Del Valle, Mines Road and San Gregorio, and it features new routes including Collier Canyon, Grant Ranch and Morgan Territory. Rainouts will not alter the ride schedule.
The emphasis is on an M pace, and each ride will have an M-pace ride leader. Over the last several years, the PRS has gotten a reputation for being fast. This year the leaders are committed to maintaining an M-paced group. Some rides may have also have an M+ ride leader who will maintain a faster pace; check the each ride's calendar entry for details.
